Xbox application download speed problem

Hello! I am Jonjon here to assist. It seems as you are having an issue with your download speed in the Microsoft store. As @Hi_Im_Swat has stated there is multiple factors that go into your download speed. However, there does seem to be an issue with with the Microsoft store's/application's download speeds. Could you please tell me your PC's specifications?

There isn't much (if anything) anyone can do to help you. The speed at which you download something depends on several factors, such as....

* Available bandwidth

* Write speed of your HD or SSD

* Your networking device (hub, switch, router, etc)

* Wi-Fi or Wired connections (wired is best)

* How busy Microsoft's servers are - Speeds might be limited at busy hours and for popular products.

* ...and other networking conditions.

I have the same problem than you,

i've got 100MB and the XBOX(beta) windows application download is limited to 8-10 MB/s

for my part.

The only thing they've been able to tell me here is to do an speed test.

That's quite simple to explain. The Xbox App shows downloads in MB/S (Megabytes per second), the Windows Store shows download speed in Mb/s (Megabits per second)

A speed of 50mb/s = 6.25MB/s

It's the same speed, just a different measurement. Like how home broadband is sold by Megabit speed rather than Megabyte speed.

Remember dial up? A 56k modem was 56Kb/s. Which is around 7 Kilobytes a second.

By the way, the Windows Store isn't just showing the download, this is the application that's doing the download. The Xbox App doesn't actually download anything on its own.
