Have you tried to uninstall/re-install the Xbox App?



Here are steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:

1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.

2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.

3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage
*xboxapp*| Remove-AppxPackage

4. Hit Enter.



Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

Are you running the Xbox Application on Windows 10? Just want to confirm.

If the Xbox app crashes when streaming, joining a party or uploading a video on your PC, you can try resetting the Xbox app to default. This will remove all of your settings and cache and hopefully, resolve the issue you're experiencing.

1. Open the Setting app and go to the Apps section on your PC.

2. Select Xbox from the list and click Advanced options.

3. Scroll down to the Reset section and click Reset and again to confirm.

After you do this, your Xbox app will be reset to default and the problem should be resolved. The app is great on Windows 10, but if it keeps closing on you after you give this a try.

The only reason this occurs is because the mixer application isnt closed 100% after watching, this is to prevent people from streaming out their netflix on mixer/twitch as this would be against T's and C's.

When closing mixer on the xbox, make sure to exit/quit the application 100% even in the dashboard.

I can reproduce only a certain portion of this which would be the application crash. Regardless of when you open the tray in the Sales & Specials application (spinning loading or even when the application is fully loaded) the application will close and automatically
return you to the dashboard, it does not however, sign me out my profile (it's possible that you don't have auto sign in enabled which would cause the difference).

Do you perhaps have the beta version of the dashboard?

If you've got an antivirus please close it while trying to launch the game. As well I suggest closing twitch or mixer if you're trying to stream while playing the game. What other applications are running while trying to play the game?
