    Xbox App & Xbox Beta App won't Save (Download) Captures


    I haven't been able to Save / Download any of my Captures from either of the Xbox Apps. It's been like this for a good while now and I even just updated the Xbox Beta App and the problem is still persisting

    This is what happens. I go on the app on my phone and when I go and tap on the share icon, if I go to Save, the share options just stays on the screen, no matter what option you press after doesn't do anything and you can't go back, the app is just stuck at that point. You have to close the app and go back on it to use it, you just can't Save / Download Captures

    How do i transfer my gameplay videos to my smartphone from my xbox one?

    I believe you can download native captures from Console that are uploaded to Xbox Live via the Xbox app on mobile.

    Edit: Just checked, and if it's uploaded to Xbox Live you can go to the mobile Xbox App and then click "Captures" select the capture you want to download, click the "Share" button and it has an option to "Save" in there that will download it locally.

    Go to the App Store, or Google Play and download the Xbox app. You can then upload your game captures to Xbox Live, then use the mobile Xbox App to download your captures after they're uploaded to Xbox Live. You can also click on the share options for
    your captures and upload them to Onedrive and use the mobile Onedrive App to download to your phone.

    i can upload captures normally for most of the games i have but there are some games that the xbox companion app doesn't upload, like Mass Effect 1 and Resident Evil 1 HD Remaster, using the xbox companion beta i was able to upload captures of these games
    but now microsoft has disabled permanently the option to upload captures using the xbox companion beta. So my question is, why the xbox companion app don't upload captures and clips of this particular games? and if there is a way to solve it?

    Xbox App unable to recognize games

    I am on my PC, using the Xbox app on my PC. All captures recorded with the Microsoft Game DVR while playing on my PC. I can see the videos in the app under captures like usual. However, when i try to upload them to Xbox Live a message appears that says
    can’t upload capture, we don’t recognize this game. The problem is now happening with Forza Horizon 4 as well. I’ve found posts suggesting trying the beta Xbox app and I was able to upload a few Forza Horizon 4 captures before the problem occured on that app
    as well. The beta app wouldn’t let me upload BFV clips either. I tried resetting the regular Xbox app in the app settings and that works for awhile before the issue comes back. I’ve seen posts as old as 2016 stating this issue.
