    Xbox app won’t recognize my controller

    First things first:
    - I updated my controller
    - I have updated and re-downloaded my Xbox app
    - I have no issues connecting my controller with my iPhone/iPad nor do I have issues starting remote play

    This problem is simply that my Xbox app won’t recognize my controller. I am stuck at the screen that tells me to connect a controller. Even after I go back to the Bluetooth page, disconnect and reconnect my controller, nothing happens.

    (my controller is the brand new one with the share button)

    Is there a way to fix this? Has this happened to anyone else?

    I spoke with someone over the phone. We tried a bunch of troubleshooting. Nothing seemed to work.

    Hopefully theres an update soon

    I further checked on my Xbox 360 and Xbox One and it doesn't recoginze me as Gold member there. It seems the only place this is being recognized is on the iOS App....

    Xbox Elite series 2 controller wont connect to iphone

    I have the exact same issue and would like to add that this is NOT an issue with the steps involved, it’s clearly a hardware/software problem. Either Microsoft needs to do something to update the elite series 2 controller or Apple needs to address this
    with an iOS update. Please don’t post links to the steps to connect an xbox controller to a bluetooth device because it won’t work.
