Xbox App won't let me sign in(Black Screen)

I recently updated to Windows 11.

I decided to download some games to play. However, when I open up the Xbox App and try to sign in, the window goes to a black screen for maybe two to three seconds and then returns me to the Xbox App home page without taking me to the sign in page.
Once back on the homepage I cannot click on the sign in button again from the upper right hand icon.

I tried to install from the Microsoft Store. It takes me to the Xbox app's game page. In this case it is Halo Infinite. Yes, I am a subscriber to Ultimate Game Pass. I click on Install with GamePass and once again, a black screen and then back to the game's page. Clicking on Install again does nothing.

I tried searching the internet for answers. I tried the Xbox services restart and turn on Automatically run at startup. Restarted. Nothing.

I uninstalled and reinstalled. Again, the same thing with the black screen.

I tried resetting the app. Same thing.

Just recently the Xbox App had an update. Same thing. Black screen, return home, cannot click sign in until close and reopen, then the same thing all over again.

I am signed into the Microsoft store and usually when I start the Xbox App I am already signed in. The account in the Xbox App shows my information, but I am not signed in.

However, I can click to install any E for Everyone game in the PC GamePass and it will let me pick a drive,but then when it tries to install there is an error 0x00000001 . Nothing else.

Any help is appreciated.

Please follow some of the recommended suggestions below that have helped other gamers with problems with their PC Game Pass app.

Solution 1: Make sure you do not have other programs like

Anit-virus

Firewall

PC Optimizers

Blocking the game

Solution 2: Reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device:

Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type PowerShell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and select Run as administrator.
In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
Install the App on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
Restart your device and try to install the game again.

Solution 3: Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode; this error could also be attributed to issues with the Microsoft store not recognizing your entitlement to the game. Would you please click on this link Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode | Xbox Support. Then scroll down and click on the drop-down arrow and look at the steps for How to enable offline play on your device.

Solution 4: Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files If some Windows functions aren't working or Windows crashes, use the System File Checker to scan Windows and restore your files. Sometimes corrupted files can cause issues.

Solution 5 Create a local user or administrator account in Windows . Sometimes you can have a situation with permissions or profile corruption. Please follow the steps in this link to see if that fixes the current issue you are having.

I have a problem with signing in to Minecraft with my Microsoft account. Every time I click sign in, it brings me to the "Let's get you signed in with XBOX Live" screen. I click sign in and it brings me to a confirm
page to confirm my Microsoft account. I click "continue" and it brings me back to the "Let's get you signed in with XBOX Live" screen. I clicked sign in and it brought me the confirm page again. I clicked continue and it brought me back to the Minecraft app
but the screen won't load and the app is stuck on a black screen. Is there a solution to this? I've tried uninstalling and I've tried to disconnecting my WiFi from my Android phone.

I would do this but it won't let me access anything all i get is a black screen, and it says "signing you in" for about five to ten minutes then it loads into a black screen. I cannot do anything in the mean time.

Thank you for letting us know that the prior solution did not help fix the issue. We do have other strategies to try.

Here are the few steps that we can try:

Uninstall and reinstall Gaming Services:

Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.
In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
Restart your device and try signing in again.

Use Gaming Services Repair Tool:

Launch the Xbox app for PC.
Click your Profile picture.
Click on Support.
Choose Gaming Services Repair Tool.
Click Start Troubleshooting

Clearing Xbox identity data:

- Open folder '%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\TokenBroker'

- Delete both subfolders in it
