Xbox app won't launch any games downloaded from GamePass

Discus and support Xbox app won't launch any games downloaded from GamePass in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I've just gotten a Windows 11 Home PC and installed the Xbox app. I'm able to download GamePass games as expected but I'm not able to launch them....     Xbox app won't launch any games downloaded from GamePass


    I've just gotten a Windows 11 Home PC and installed the Xbox app. I'm able to download GamePass games as expected but I'm not able to launch them. Neither hitting the Play button on a game's page nor the one under my "Installed" list has any effect at all. I've made desktop shortcuts of all of the games as well and attempting to launch via those also has no effect either.

    I've tried uninstalling the games and running "Verify and Repair" on each one and that hasn't solved the issue. I have GamePass on my Xbox Series X and all seems to work fine there.

    Assassin's Creed: Origins game is still not available.. Even though I have Xbox game pass and my ubisoft account is linked to Xbox too

    open the Ubisoft app and it should be listed under games, you can download from there if your gamepass is linked. that is where it will download from anyway and once downloaded you will see the link to launch in that app or the Xbox app, be reminded though EA games and Ubisoft games do not have achievements for Xbox on PC.

    No, They are not. I had GamePass PC earlier and everything used to work properly but then one day I got notification that there is an offer on GamePass Ultimate so I upgraded but since the day GamePass PC subscription ended and GamePass Ultimate subscription started, I can only launch games that are on EA Play and that too from EA Desktop App only.

    Now, because the GamePass Ultimate was a 3 month subscription, so I can't even go back to GamePass PC until it's over.

    Any game that launches from Xbox app for Windows fails to launch and tried repairing and resetting the Xbox and Microsoft Apps, sign-out and then again sign-in on both the apps but still same thing.

    For Example, Forza Horizon 4 used to work earlier but now it does not.

    I paid for Xbox game pass for the pc but didn't get it.

    download the xbox app and sign in with your account that has gamepass pc, then download the games from gamepass pc.

    You need the gamepass app or xbox app and queue your downloads from the gamepass section not from ms store

    Gamepass has always been an xbox one feature only

    Any games with gold or purchased seperately is a seperatr download

    you can only get games from gamepass within the xbox one as it still requires the gamepass app

    If you make the purchase the game or games with gold then you still get to keep them
