Discus and support Xbox App Won't Detect TV App HDMI in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I have my 360 hooked up through hdmi on my xbox one and I want to stream it through my pc the only thing is It wont detect my Hdmi that's plugged...     Xbox App Won't Detect TV App HDMI


    So I have my 360 hooked up through hdmi on my xbox one and I want to stream it through my pc the only thing is It wont detect my Hdmi that's plugged into my xbox one! Can Anyone help me resolve this issue thanks! Please respond asap!

    Have you set HDMI on the Xbox One manually, rather than having HDMI set to auto detect? Also try deleting the Blu Ray app and reinstalling it.

    You want to use the TV app on your TV through the console, or the TV app on your Xbox onto your TV?

    A standard HDMI will get the Xbox on your TV but you will need another HDMI cable from your cable box to the XBox like a pass through.

    Are you getting any sort of error message when you try and run the TV App? You can try power cycling your console by holding the power button on the Xbox One for 10 seconds or until it turns off. Boot it back up again and try running the TV app again. If
    that doesn't work, let's take the PC out of the mix and try running the TV app from your Xbox One console without streaming. Let us know your results.

    I've been attempting to do the same thing, but the streaming of the TV app (with 360 showing) has only worked for me if I have the Xbox One physically showing on my television screen (which defeats the purpose).

    If I turn the television scree off, I get the same error saying it cannot detect the HDMI signal.

    All Xbox One models can do this, if there is an app available in the store. You need a TV with a hdmi connector, otherwise you won't be able to watch it.

    It sounds like your TV is not properly detecting the different 3D signal.

    When you say it won't let you into the 3D settings, do you mean it is grayed out? Is there not the option to go in? Most TVs will have an auto detect that will detect the type of 3D signal and automatically adjust.
