Xbox App Windows 10

Hello, I was trying to sign into the Xbox app on Windows 10 so I could play on a world in Minecraft that my friend started up. When I tried clicking sign in, it said I wasn't connected to the internet, even when every other device in my house could connect
(my phone, xbox, etc) and gave me and error code of 0x80860010. When I searched it up, there were no results for it. I don't know what's going on here. This has been happening for quite some time now. Any help? Thanks

Changing gamer tag

You can't change a gamertag into a previously owned one but you could sign in to the Windows 10 Xbox app with the old one though.

Thanks for bringing this situation to our attention on the forums. I understand you are having trouble connecting to Xbox Live through your Xbox App on Windows 10 is that correct? If so, I suggest you try fully powering down the PC and then unplugging it
from the power for a minute or two. Once that is done try it again, if the situation persists you may want to try Uninstalling and Reinstalling the Xbox App itself.
