Xbox App (windows 10) loud crackling noise in parties.

Whenever I join an Xbox live party on windows 10 for some reason it crackles super loudly and since all my friends play on console I can never talk to them. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried resetting it in settings. Am I missing something?

edit: This has been going on for months now and Im desperate

Your problem could be coming from your headset splitter if you are using one. If not it might help to get tr one

Edit: What headset do you have? Do you have discord on your pc?

Dang. Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the xbox app like XBF George L suggested?
