Xbox app/windows 10 doesnt work

The windows 10 reinstall option uninstall third party software so id like to avoid that for now...

So for a recap of the problem,This is the error in the Companion app:





And this is the error in Xbox App, the Accedi (Login) button doesnt respond, i could click it a thousand times per second:





So its obvious that the xbox live service cant connect and that is reflected in all the app that tries to use that.

So Windows 10 has an option to reinstall while maintaining your files and settings.

Following the steps here follows that process but allows you to keep everything. That might help with the situation. I've done it before, and particularly on older devices and computers I was using to test across multiple devices, and had no issues performing
that reset while not loosing any data or setting options.

Sticking with the original issue; if you're not seeing Gaming Services appear in the app list like so:





Then that makes me believe that you might not have the latest version of Windows installed, and I would recommend that you check Updates & Security for latest Windows Update.

Under Settings > System > About it should be on version 1903

So I downloaded the companion app and it says "Impossible to LogIn now. Try later (0x406)"

I have the latest 1903 version.

It might not just be Windows, it might be the store as well, so after checking for system updates, open up the Microsoft Store, click the three dots in the top right corner, and select Downloads and Updates. From there you can click "Get updates" and
check if there are updates to apps available, like Xbox (Beta), Gaming Services, or the Xbox Console Companion.
