Xbox App Volume/Microphone

Sorry to hear about the chat issue! Before you stream with the Twitch app, the Twitch app should snap to the right. In that menu, navigate to the bottom and select 'Settings' and there should be an 'Enable Microphone' setting, along with a slider to adjust
microphone volume. Make sure your microphone is enabled and your volume is up and post back if that helps you out!

Could be an issue with your microphone. Check the settings in the Xbox companion app and make sure your volume is turned all the way up.

ok, got it, try this other method.

First, make sure your headset mic is not muted. Go to Sound Settings > Microphone > Input Volume, set the volume to 100, and test by speaking or lightly tapping the headset mic to see if the mic meter registers activity.

After that, check your microphone privacy settings in Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone. Make sure the Xbox app and your gaming apps have microphone access turned on.

Have you checked that your microphone audio is not muted in the Xbox app?

Open Xbox app>settings>audio and voice volume adjust the bar to the right.
