    Xbox App using insider build, but I cannot download the insider app to opt out.


    Whenever I try accessing the Xbox Insider App, I am told I have to download "xbox-insider2" link, when I click on it to get to the store page I get an error that the link was not a functioning one. I want to opt out because my Xbox Gamepass PC app does not have my Gamepass button to click. I can provide images if necessary .

    You should be able to opt out of the Insider program using the Xbox Insider Hub app on your console.

    Hey, I have the solution

    Open xbox insider hub app and go to insider content

    Click on Minecraft and manage, then opt out of beta

    Make sure to download Minecraft again

    It's easy to opt out, open up the Xbox Insider Hub app, go to settings on the landing page and manage device's and, highlight the console, select done and it will remove you from the program and you should get a download taking you back to a public OS

    I'm on the public dashboard build and I downloaded the insider app to double check.

    Neither of my consoles are in the insider program.

    Both consoles used to be in the insider a while ago but they are not any more.

    I just can't understand why this app still wont download even after factory resetting.

    Thanks for the reply its steps i have already tried with no success.

    I was also on the Xbox insider Ring and report this as an issue but then opted out to go to a standard build and the issue is still there. I have friends showing on the IOS app and Windows 11 PC app but just not on the actual xbox.
