Xbox App updating stuck at 0% inside the app

I am very sorry for the problem you are going through, with the intention of being able to help you I did an internal search on the Microsoft forum and found a publication by Gerardo C., an independent advisor, where he suggests the following steps to try to solve the problem:

Try the following:

1. Perform a hard reset of both your Xbox app and the Microsoft Store. To do this, you must type in the Windows search engine and open the following: Applications and features.

2. Find the "Xbox" application and select it, then click on Advanced Options and click on "Reset" and confirm the process, do the same for the "Microsoft Store" application.

3. Restart your PC by finishing the above.

This worked thank you! I can open my xbox app!

I am stuck when i try to open the app. It starts updating and even if i waited 20/30 minutes the bar is stucked to 0%. I tried mano times, i try to reinstall, to reinstall the store, to update windows 11 etc etc. But nothing works. I can install the app every time but every time it stay at 0% updating after i launch it

Please follow the steps below to check if the problem is resolved by reinstalling Microsoft Gaming Services:

1. Type "Windows PowerShell" in the Windows search bar and run it as an administrator. Then, copy and paste the following command and press Enter on your keyboard:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-appxpackage -allusers

2. Open the Xbox app; if it opens correctly without any issues, it will detect that you need the Gaming Services. You can download them by clicking the "Download" button that appears there. If the problem persists and you still can't open the Xbox app or if it doesn't allow you to download the Gaming Services with the previous method, then try using the following command in the Windows PowerShell window, run as an administrator using the process described in the first step:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

3. Once you finish downloading and installing Gaming Services, it's recommended that you restart your PC.

4. Finally, check if the problem has been resolved.

Found the bug, I did remove all Xbox apps in the past, and I just installed Xbox Accessories.

Although it runs alone, and shows the controller and update process, but it stuck at 0% and do nothing!

It NEEDS other Xbox apps to work properly, but it does not tell you that!

So this is a bug in the app, that does not check its requirements!
