    Xbox App update that has removed clubs chat for another feature.


    I have had a few people ask about getting club chat back since the latest update on the Xbox app and have managed a workaround, but there is, of course, is a big disclaimer to it.

    This is a post to inform what the Xbox app version does not affect the access to has access to the club features, messages, or party chat. And if you are looking to roll back your
    Xbox app update on your device, we are not liable to what form you are rolling it back to or installing on your android device, so please be careful where you download and install in your phone.

    If you also roll back, you might lose some access to other features like the streaming process so just be aware it depends on which feature you are after. Please be safe.

    The version you might be looking to get is Xbox_v2006.0624.0047, But you can get that from the google store if you check the file manager settings. I hope this helps some of you. And please, if you don't know how to do it please
    reach out to someone who might be aware on how to use android phone devices. Thank you in advance.

    I will also have to note please note this isn't a guide per say just informing a workaround that got me back the function I used the app for but the best way forward is to leave your feedback in the correct places to make sure
    it's seen and correctly forward Xbox App update that has removed clubs chat for another feature. :).

    Xbox Live's Evolution

    I'd like to see a discord-like feature added in natively. Perhaps build out the club's chat feature to be the main focus and add in a lot of the functionality that discord has. Clubs are great, but hardly anyone uses the chat feature the way it is now.
    Building that out would go a long way in making clubs feel more like a sub community.

    Xbox Clubs... Going Away? Say It Isn't So!

    To access Xbox Clubs on the new Xbox App, you need to follow these steps:

    1. Open the Xbox App on your PC or Mobile device.

    2. Click on the "Social" tab at the bottom of the screen.

    3. Click on "Clubs" at the top of the screen.

    4. Here, you will see a list of all the Clubs you are a member of. You can also search for new Clubs to join.
    This doesn't work because the Xbox App on Pc has no Social Tab anywhere. The new Xbox App for PC basically is really only useful if you use Gamepass. It lacks many features the Xbox Companion App had. Clubs are no where to be found on it. As for the Mobile App, Same thing. The Social tab has no clubs anywhere. Thanks for the response though...

    Thank you for your reply. I have transfered ownership of 1 of my clubs to another account i have and use as an admin in the clubs incase i ever run into any problems with my account as i have been locked out of a club in the past when it somehow removed
    me and made me request to join but i had no admin to accept the request.

    I then made another club and had no issues inviting or receiving invite requests.

    Before this happened my niece was playing on my phone and left the app i put on for her and was in my xbox app. I noticed the phone was open at my club and i think she had clicked the delete club tab within the club.

    It said the club activity had been suspended but i clicked to keep the club. Its since then the

    issue has been happening.

    On March 27, 2020, Xbox turned off a few features for custom uploads on the Xbox services. Here are the features that are impacted:

    Custom Gamerpics on all platforms (Temporarily)
    Custom club pics on all platforms (Temporarily)
    Custom club backgrounds on all platforms (Temporarily)
    Custom captures and game clips on Xbox Console Companion PC (Beta) app (Permanent)

    As people look to gaming for social connection, Xbox is seeing record numbers across Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Live, and Mixer. To streamline moderation and ensure the best experience for the community, Xbox has made small adjustments. Some features like uploading
    custom gamerpics, club pics, and club backgrounds are temporarily disabled.

    You will also be unable to upload custom images in the following areas:
