    Some Context:

    I have purchased the 1 dollar GamePass for PC beta.

    I was able to see my subscriptions in https://account.microsoft.com/services/pcgamepass/billing

    I have the latest the Xbox App in my windows 10 pc

    I am correctly signed in to the Microsoft Store (able to see my account and download apps)

    1)

    The Error always shows "not signed into the microsoft store" but if you see my screenshot, its clearly signed to the store. Both accounts same email.

    2)     If I click here to fix it, it will show "Looks like there was a problem" and the problem loops

    3) gamepass for PC bought but the app does not recognize it

    4) So yeah nothing can be installed. It's super annoying, any suggestion to fix this be great.

    I repaired, reset, reinstalled the Xbox Live App, sign in and out of microsoft store and xbox live. nothing works

    To be honest this is super disappointing for a paid service.

    I also tried to click install desired game from the microsoft store,

    then some error message pop up saying it cannot work at this time (along these lines)

    5) There is a workaround for people having the same issue.

    I was able to use the iOS GamePass app to "install to" this PC.

    what this means is use the mobile app, browse and select the game you want to install, then click "install to" and select the PC.

    somehow this made the microsoft store in my PC show that I am downloading the game.

    I have found the solution. Just sharing in case anyone runs into same problems with their ultimate gamepass or gamepass for PC.

    I noticed that on the same exact PC. If I create another local account for windows 10 and sign in to the xbox app and microsoft store with my xbox live account eveything works correctly.

    Then I figured out that I am having this issue because my original windows 10 account was not a local account it was a direct hotmail/live account which I have used to sign in.

    Then I followed the steps above to convert my hotmail/live windows 10 account to be a local account.

    I converted to an account with the traditional username password; don't worry all the data and settings were retained.

    Then I signed out of my microsoft store app and xbox app and signed in again; then the problem disappeared. Now I can see the games I installed and also choose to install from the Xbox App

    Ya as mentioned game sharing is only available on console

    HOWEVER there is a way to do it

    First sign into your xbox App under YOUR profile and download games via gamepass

    Then sign out of the xbox App and sign in as one of your childten profiles this allows them to use the content BUT not download it

    You MUST Not sign out of your pc

    I paid for Xbox game pass for the pc but didn't get it.

    download the xbox app and sign in with your account that has gamepass pc, then download the games from gamepass pc.

    There is no solution it's exactly as you been told

    Gamepass cannot be shared on pc period HOWEVER JESSIE iS incorrect in a way

    Yes it can't be shared however to download the game he must sign into the profile with gamepass and then download the game when done he MUST sign into his account on the xbox app not the PC

    SO DONOT sign out of the pc just the xbox app

    Then sign in as himself on the zbox app

    Well there is a problem.So you need to be signed into the gamepass and xbox store with your account

    But this can only be on one pc since you can only be signed in one location at a time

    Gameshare doesn't apply to pc

    But he can play any game you download from hos profile

    But you must be signed in on the xbox app or gamepass app
