    So I stream on kick sometimes and the few times I did the game started freezing, not for me while looking at my pc but for steam it just froze and I had to minimize the window and then maximize the window. (I use OBS Studios to stream)

    It should be possible to stream straight to YouTube on Xbox

    The way i have done it was with companion app and obs studio then you stream to your computer or laptop and obs captures your screen and stream it to you tube

    you can record but you cannot stream, to stream you need obs, twitch studio or other software.

    that maybe the issue on console but i use twitch via pc and there are no such paywalls for 60fps streaming, either using obs or twitch's very own studio software which is absolutely free.

    twitch did not bother updating the app too much on the Xbox due to the way Microsoft shoe horned in their own streaming service.

    twitch was the original app on Xbox one for streaming then Microsoft changed the OS and banged in there useless platform for streaming (which shut down not long ago) and side-lined the twitch app, what incentive did twitch have to update the console app. none.

    Hopefully that's the sort of thing you're looking for.
