Xbox app says I can’t reply to message

    Why is Microsoft so bad!! They mess up the Xbox app every release. Now I can’t reply to messages on my iPhone in the Xbox app since the newest update. It’s saying my account is not set to do so. Something about I need to change privacy settings on Xbox.com.
    I’ve never changed anything. And I just looked and there is nothing to do with being able to message anywhere. Please fix your app Microsoft!

    I have done what you have posted on Xbox 360 and I can now receive, read and reply to messages on Xbox 360 but I still can’t send messages or read them on Xbox one or Xbox app.

    iOS Xbox App Messenger: Can’t Reply After Update

    iOS Xbox App’s Messenger is broken since last update. Can’t reply to any messages in existing conversations. Can only send new messages from users’ profiles.

    Signing out of the app and deleting it doesn’t fix the issue. Other users are experiencing this bug.

    I got communication banned by a cheater.

    So I’m unbanned but I can’t use my Xbox app to message people, it says I’m still suspended but only on the app

    Xbox app is always broken with messages. Ms constantly disabled the notifications message feature with new versions. You have to re enable them. And I can’t message anyone since the newest update. It says privacy settings are not set to allow it. Go to Xbox.com
    and change them. Last week it was fine. Then a new update. Totally broke messages. A couple days later a new update. Fixed messaging. But now I can’t. I’ve never changed privacy settings. And I just looked and there is nothing to do with messaging. I’ve reinstalled
    the app. Please fix yer app ms!!!!

    I think my profile got infected. My deleted messages keeps returning.

    So I can’t see any messages I received at at on Xbox or the app, I get notifications but messages not there
