    Xbox App replaces the Xbox Console Companion. Now many features are forever gone.


    The new Xbox App no longer allows me to access groups or anything from games that are not part of the Xbox Game Pass. I also can no longer download clips anymore. Everything is gone now.

    The Xbox console companion app no longer has that feature, since the app is being replaced by the Xbox app. The only way at this moment to upload a custom gamer pic is with the Xbox One console.

    You should see a "Connection" tab right about your "Settings" tab. And make sure they are both on the same network. You may also have to go into your Xbox settings and change the name of your Xbox(yes annoying and silly, but it may have to be done)

    I used to stream to twitch via the Xbox companion app, and a few of my friends still do, and we all had this issue.

    That is within the Xbox Console Companion app itself. The issue is that the Console Companion is now telling people that it is going to be replaced soon with just the "Xbox" app on PC, which does not appear to have that feature.

    How do I view my Games statistics on the Xbox App on Windows?

    The Xbox app doesn't show that info. You need the Xbox console companion for that feature.

    most of the features of the companion app are gone in windows 11, as the app is being discontinued slowly on windows 10 and 11.

    The console companion app has been discontinued so any new features will only be added to the Xbox app.
