Xbox app redownloading games already installed on updates

Forza Horizon 5 did that to me too earlier today, I took it that the game needed to be reinstalled alongside the update to remove all the bugs which has plagued the game since launch. I apologise for the inconvenience.

quickest and easiest way to resolve this issue is start from scratch, clean windows install and run all windows updates then store updates then install xbox app then game services then redownload gamepass games.

Yes it was working in the past for like a week Then the game stopped working so i verify and repair the game but it just gave me the 0x80070005 error

Its the first time I used the xbox app for games but I use other apps like steam, ubisoft, battlen.et, and epic games no problems with them tho

There is no run as admin for the xbox app

I just added a exception to avast for the game install folders I uninstall the game so ill need to redownload the game to see if it will do it again or not

I have already uninstalled the xbox app and reinstalled it through mirosoft store. Then uninstalled mirosoft store and the xbox app again restarted my pc and redownload the xbox app through the micosoft store after micosoft store updated

updating let me open already installed games, but ms store and xbox app aren't installed anymore somehow

hmmm... the MCC has been mostly fixed for awhile now. I find that when they release an actual update to fix a problem in the game it helps if I delete the entire game and redownload it. that way the update is already installed in the game when I do that.

I figured out that separate update uploaded separately to an already installed game causes problems. at least with the MCC it did
