    ok i accidentally changed my pfp to a default one and i've been trying to chage it to a custom one for 6 hours now did they stop allowing custom pfpf's or id it bugged rn

    I understand you're having difficulty uploading your custom gamerpic? I can see you're not the only player experiencing this issue at this time.

    Your image should be at least 1080 x 1080 pixels, and be no smaller than 512 x 512 pixels. I have checked and can see there are currently no outages with uploading gamerpics. However, there might be a small technical glitch that isn't showing as an outage which is why you're unable to upload a customised profile picture.

    Note: It might take a while for your customised image to appear while we verify that it’s OK to use.

    In the meantime, while we wait for the issue to be resolved, below is some useful information:

    You can view the Xbox Server Status by going to Xbox Status | Xbox Support. This page is frequently updated. If you're experiencing an issue, please report an outage so the team can investigate further.

    Which service talks about updating Gamerpics? Because all the services say up and running. Could the problem only happen to people who are unlucky?

    It's been confirmed by an Xbox Support Agent that there is currently an outage with custom gamerpics not updating.

    Unfortunately, I am not able to specify a date this will be resolved.

    You can track the progress, and be notified of the fix by going to Xbox Status | Xbox Support. Once there is a solution, please attempt to upload your custom gamerpic again and it should be fine.

    If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to come back and create a new thread and we will be more than happy to answer.

    I can see currently everything is showing as fully operational despite the circumstances. In this case, it's advisable to report an outage.

    Please follow the steps below:

    Step 1) Please go to Xbox Status | Xbox Support.

    Step 2) Navigate down the page to "Services".

    Step 3) Select the dropdown arrow for "Account & profile".

    Step 4) Check the status of the service: 'Gamerpics'.

    Step 5) Next to the dropdown arrow, select the three dots beside "Account & profile".

    Step 6) Select 'Report an outage' and submit your feedback.
