Xbox app (PC) Remote play option disappeared today. I am on the insider build, was fine before.

Xbox app (PC) Remote play option disappeared been using it for over a month Trouble shooting I have done

on console I have double checked remote features are enabled/cleared alternative mac address/reset keep games and apps/checked for updates.

on PC side I have repaired/reset Xbox app/ and Xbox insider hub checked for window updates/App updates and the last thing I tried was pin hole reset with my modem. I have Xbox series x

Remote play icon is all working fine on Xbox One and mobile just not PC Please Help Notice this issue at 10.30am 10/10/2022

Currently the option to use the Cloud/remote gaming through the Xbox app is only for Insiders. If you download the Insider Hub on your PC, you can sign up from their to get that option.

Hello jcleigh, just to make clear what this is about, are you trying to stream from Xbox to PC on the same network, are you trying to remotely play xbox through your mobile phone or are you trying to play Xcloud?

The OP is trying to use Remote Play between their PC and their Series X using the PC Xbox App:

"PC to XSX Remote Play"

They have tried to use remote play with their Android Device and it worked fine

I am confused, is there another way to use wifi remote play than the xbox app?

I use the xbox app on every device for remote play. (Xbox to tablet/PC)

Windows version: Version 21H2 (os build 22000.778)

Not part of insider. I have used insider builds on my work PC; but only official releases at home. I work in IT, but specialize more in networking and VoIP/Video.

I'll do the in place upgrade this weekend.
