    Xbox app party glitches


    Due to my headset breaking I’ve resorted to using the xbox app. I’ll join a party on my phone and after a couple of minutes someone’s audio will cut out, the only quick-fix I have is unplugging and replugging my headphones, though sometimes the problem will
    still occur with no headphones plugged in at all.

    I have reinstalled the Xbox app numerous times with no avail, this only started occuring after the most recent update.

    Is there any fix for this or will I have to wait till they can put out another update?

    Hi there IRONSAINT22840,

    If you are still seeing this happen let's reinstall the app on your phone. You will also want to try a full power cycle of the mobile device. On your console let's try a

    quick factory reset     then check if you are able to unmute your friend. Be sure to keep your games and apps installed when asked to do so. Please let us know if you are still unable to unmute your friend after trying those steps.

    Hi,

    Have you updated your controller since the most recent update? I'd advise doing that (with the headset connected) if you haven't already.

    I'm not sure whats the cause of it but i use to get party error whenever i switch the part from of my Xbox system to the app on my laptop or phone. I feel its just a glitch i truly feel sooner or later it'll stop and work properly.

    One thing you should check is whether your ISP bumps everyone at a certain time to get rid of active but unused connections. If it happens at the same time every day that would likely be the cause
