Xbox app party chat windows 10 not working

Hi

I can join party chat but for some reason i cant hear my friends and they cant hear me. i am not disconected in the party chat, my mic is reacting when i speak but we cant hear eachother.

You can also check if Party chats work well on the Xbox app on PC (Windows 10/11) or on your phone.

USB headsets are not compatible with an Xbox one, and so far there is no software to fix this issue. If you are looking to use the headset for chatting purposes only you can download the xbox app on windows 10, often it is pre-installed on windows 10
pcs. With the xbox app you can create a party and invite your friend(s), the party will have voice chat.

Go to the settings of the xbox app and make sure you have the right mic connected

It really wont work on any operating system other than windows 10. The windows 10 app is the only legitimate way to stream your xbox to play on the move. Personally i use a macbook with windows 10 bootcamped on it, native support for the controller is good,
as is the ability to use game sound/ party chat through the macbook
