Xbox app party chat issues.

For about a month or so, my headset has started to create an echo for my friends and they can hear what I'm playing on my computer. (they can hear themselves talk and music I play over my headphones, not the other way round) We checked other apps like discord
and skype and other devices and it doesn't echo or relay any audio over the headset. we figure it must be the app. Any ideas to fix this issue?

Microphone issues steaming to Windows 10

I believe that the party chat in the Xbox app is still in beta, so issues are to be expected.

Beta Version of the iOS Xbox App Accepting Users

Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to take part in the experience of the Xbox app

These are some issues/features that would go great along with party chat on iPhone
1. A way to switch between audio chat from iPhone and Xbox mic

I started a party chat on the Xbox app but then wanted to use switch to my headset on my Xbox, I had to leave the party chat and join again on the xbox

2. Possibly game audio on iPhone from the Xbox app

The Reason imm sending feedback here is because its not working with the testflight app on ios

Hello Im2UrRight,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We recommend completing the port forwarding process. We see this issue occur on the Xbox One when two players with incompatible NAT Types are attempting to connect to each other. This affects party chat,
messaging and gaming with other players.
The Port Forward website provides instructions on how to complete the process. Xbox or Windows 10 users will need to know the IP address of the device they are port forwarding to, and the make and model of the router or gateway in their home. Be sure to
let us know the results!

seems like, as the party chat recognize your mic, check if you have the same issues on mobile app or in a party directly on the Xbox

To the leo and ash and others annoyed by this problem there are two method you can try to make the party app switch to the real head set connected to your controller they are not guaranteed working but still worth trying.

First method: make sure your headset is connected to your controller and streaming is running then hold the voice up/down button until you can here the party chat from the headset.

Second method: make sure the streaming is not running and party is through your headset properly then just wait until the controller shutdown by itself, after it happens power on your controller again and start the streaming hoping that things gonna be good.

!!!To MS staffs, the easiest way to fix this problem is to make that fake controller made by win10 XBOX app visible and manageable in the XBOX ONE setting again!!!

If you can’t hear the person you’re trying to chat with after joining their party, try these tips:

Check that your privacy settings allow communication with everyone. Press the
Xbox button to open the guide and select System
> Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety
> Xbox Live privacy. Select View details & customize
> Communication & multiplayer, and then make your changes.
Unmute or unblock the person you’re trying to chat with. Press the
Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select
Multiplayer > Party. Select the party to expand the party roster, choose the person you want to unmute, and select
Unmute.
Check that you have joined party chat from within the party window.
See if you’re experiencing network latency or other network issues. To do this, check the detailed network statistics for your network. For more info, see
