Xbox app opens but stuck in update phase

Hi help needed here just built a new system and just pit on a new clean install of windows 11 on there everything on my pc runs flawlessly apart from the xbox app. I can launch it but gets stuck on the xbox app needs an update we are getting things ready for you. If I uninstall the xbox app and try to reinstall it I get met with the error code 0x803fb005. I've tried all the fixes suggested including the troubleshooter, cmd promt scripts, powershell scripts, and even tried installing windows again and still got the same issue. I can force the store to reset and it auto installs the xbox app back again bypassing the error code but then still gets stuck in the update phase and dose nothing.

All this says it it should be fixed go try still no joy won't update stuck on a loading screen

Error code 0x803FB005 is a Windows Store error that can occur when trying to install or update the Xbox App. This error can be caused by a number of factors, including:

Corrupted Windows Store cache: The Windows Store cache can become corrupted over time, which can cause problems with downloading and installing apps.
Third-party software interference: Some third-party software, such as antivirus or firewall programs, can interfere with the Windows Store and cause error code 0x803FB005.
Background processes: Some background processes can interfere with the Windows Store and cause error code 0x803FB005.
Windows updates: Outdated or corrupt Windows updates can also cause error code 0x803FB005.

Before you go and do another fresh install, perhaps you can:

Insure your O.S is up to date
Try repairing and restarting the Xbox App.
Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter: Microsoft has a troubleshooter specifically designed to fix problems with Windows Store apps. To run the troubleshooter, go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Windows Store Apps and click Run the troubleshooter.
Reset the Windows Store cache: To reset the Windows Store cache, open the Start menu, type wsreset.exe, and press Enter.
Temporarily disable third-party software: Temporarily disable any antivirus or firewall programs that you have installed. This may not work fully though so you may need to uninstall them or try the other two options below.
Do a Windows Selective start up by running Msconfig from the Windows search bar
Start Windows in Safe mode and then using Safe mode with Networking, try updating from here.

How did you install Windows? Was from an older now outdated version from USB or disc?

It's always best to go to the Windows website and use the media creation tool to get the latest version of the O.S prior to install. This insures there will be no Windows updates after the install.

Is your O.S up to date?

Is it a legitimate activated copy?
