I'm using the xbox app on windows [ 10 rs2 ] to operate my xbox one playback of groove music. I'm doing things this way so i can hear the music over the quality sound system that xbox one is connected to vs what my laptop has in place.

When i bring up the xbox app on windows [ 10 rs2 ] and establish remote control connection I've been unable to find a way to control the volume on the xbox one device which has the sound system i want to hear things over not my local laptop's setup.

Upon understanding your concern, we don't have a feature on Xbox app to control the volume / sound system of your local laptop's setup.

There are unfortunately no volume controls for your sound system in the Xbox, so you'll have to use your remote if you want to adjust the volume.

This is what the sound mixer is for. Although it would be nice to control the volume, say via a slider or something in the snap window for quick volume control.

That's all set correctly. It's only the audio coming from the XBOX App that is very low. I can watch a video online, play music in Media player, and all PC system sounds are at normal easy to hear levels. Open the XBOX app and stream to my PC and its almost
inaudible. On the TV connected to the XBOX its fine and easy to hear. If I turn the volume up on my PC load enough to hear it, everything else is blaringly load. Why is there no volume control in the XBOX APP itself?
