Xbox App on Windows hangs

I dont believe there is anything wrong on the console side

After resetting the Xbox app under windows the first time it connects to the console it works fine (can remote play games)

When the app is closed and launched a second time is when it hangs

Only started happening since latest update of the app

I don't know what procedures you've tried, but if you haven't tried one yet, do a reset on your console while keeping games and Apps.

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > system > console > system

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note - You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

Hello again, the new update may have come with some kind of bug, in cases like this it remains only to wait for it to be fixed in the next update.

Hi Sonne. There are some Windows 8 apps that are not optimized for portrait mode, Xbox Music included. The most we can do now is hang tight, and wait for an update to optimize the app. Cheers.

I also ran the windows store apps troubleshooter and the two errors that came up were

-Hanging or crashing apps

-service registration is missing or corrupt

No advice on how to resolve these two issues though.
