Xbox App on Windows - Game Clip Issues

Regarding the clip trim issue, I would suggest freeing some space on your console by clearing the Mac address and saved locale games as they might be the cause of the issue. However, Currently Xbox Game Clips edit is only available on Windows 10 not on consoles.

edit and share clips on Windows 10.

Note In March of 2020 the option to upload images and game clips from the Xbox Console Companion (Beta) app was permanently removed. You’ll need to upload images and game clips from the non-beta version of the Xbox Console Companion
app.

This has been an issue since shortly after the series S/X launched to be honest. It affects all consoles I've noticed. To move your clips to your laptop I'll recommend you use a USB drive formatted for media storage and copy your captures from your console to your pc.
