Xbox App on Windows 10 Shows Wrong Location

Hi All,

I recently signed up for Xbox Game Pass on PC and noticed that while signing up the Xbox app shows that my location is United Kingdom, I am in the United States. My Microsoft account, and even Xbox.com show the correct location.

I haven't been able to locate any Xbox specific setting that would allow me to change the location, only overall Microsoft account settings.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Add an app to run automatically at startup in Windows 10

Windows 10

Select the Start button and scroll to find the app you want to run at startup.

Right-click the app, select More, and then select Open file location. This opens the location where the shortcut to the app is saved. If there isn't an option for Open file location, it means the app can't run at startup.

With the file location open, press the Windows logo key + R, type shell:startup, then select OK. This opens the Startup folder.

Copy and paste the shortcut to the app from the file location to the Startup folder.

I have updated to the latest version of Windows 10 and the Xbox app. By "Xbox companion" do you mean the "Xbox Console Companion"? It is the only thing with "companion" in it related to Xbox that I see in the App Store. I downloaded it and everything is up to date now. The problem remains, Xbox app will not show any installation location option for Flight Simulator. This is a very annoying problem I wouldn't expect from Microsoft. I just want to use the app I paid for. Also, if it helps, I went into the Xbox app options and cannot set a default location for games to install too, it's like the Xbox app isn't detecting my hard drives at all. Also, when I go to "manage installs" in the Xbox app, it's showing 3 installs at the top of the window but only 2 games installed on the left hand bar.

basically it won't show under the xbox app, use the windows 10 store.

they wont show in the xbox app, go to the windows 10 store and download history, they will be there.
