xbox app on widnows 10 - nothing installs

ok so ages ago i tried installing subnautica below zero and lots of other games at the same time. the app crashed and i restarted the app which was fine, took ages to load but eventually did. subn. bz was still in quue so i tried cancelling, but just says error. error code is 0x00000000 so i guess there isnt one.

i cannot install nay other apps either. tried reseting and repairing.

edit - this error might also be because when i was installing below zero, i also tried dumping. dump sucessful then everything happened

This can be a bit odd, but worth trying it:

Press Windows button and type Services

On Services App from the list of results, press right-click and run it as administrator

Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

IP Helper
Xbox Live Auth Manager
Xbox Live Game Save
Xbox Live Networking Service
Gaming Services

And do this with each of the services listed above:

Right-click over the service and select Properties.
Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic (if not, change it to automatic)
If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services

Restart your PC and try again

Got it, let's try something different. (if one option doesn't work proceed with the next step)

1. Create a new local administrator user in your PC and try from there:

2. Go back to your main user and try creating a new NTFS partition, then select this new drive to store new apps

Go to Settings > System > Storage > (Advance storage options if you're on Windows 11) > Where new content is saved > Under apps select this new partition

3. Run the SFC tool to find and repair possible system corruptions:

Vol 5 is formatted as NTFS?
Double check that opening File explorer > my computer > Right-click on the drive > properties

Did you tried the troubleshooting steps advised previously?

i was hoping to not format it, big hassle to download all my steam games again, some are like 60 gb
