    Xbox app on PC won't recognize that I own the game pass while the microsoft store does...


    I was looking to purchase the Game Pass for PC again when it said I had a payment overdue. I went to the Microsoft website to pay that off and after I did it it said my subscription ends on June 11th. I go to the Xbox App and try to download a game, I click on the game and it says "Play with game pass" I click on that it brings me to the buy page even though it shows that I own it. I tried multiple games and it did the same thing. I know I 100 percent own the game pass because on the Microsoft store I was able to download one of the games I wanted to play.

    TLDR: I clearly own the game pass, but the Xbox App PC won't let me download any games and when I do it sends me to the game pass choose a plan page.

    I have same problem, xbox app on pc won't recognize i have game pass ultimate. Mobile app dose.even on web it reflects, not chaked on consol. Microsoft store late me download, install & play game pass games.

    It seems there is issue whith pc app. All usual measures does not help me.

    I tried all those steps and still, the same thing is happening on the Xbox App.

    The first thing you want to make sure of is that you are signing to the same account in both the Microsoft store and the Xbox app. The best way to make sure this is the case is to sign out of both of them and then sign back again. Also, sign into Microsoft account | Services & subscriptions and make sure the subscription is showing as active.

    After following the steps mentioned before, refresh the whole system by performing a quick boot by following the steps mentioned here => How to perform a clean boot in Windows (microsoft.com).

    Somehow it is working now! I guess it just took some time for stuff to sync up, not sure. Thanks for the help.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to try and help resolve this issue.

    What happens when you select the Install button within the in-game message for the DLC? Does it open the DLC in the Microsoft Store to download, but you can't because there's no option to install?

    Does the DLC work on your Xbox One?

    Are you logged into the same account that owns the DLC in the Microsoft Store app? The PC will show that it is installed, but you need to be logged into the right account in the Store app so that the game recognizes you own the DLC and it won't prompt you
    to install within the game.
