xbox App on PC will not load..

Discus and support xbox App on PC will not load.. in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I open the app, and the window pops up, but remains on the black screen with the xbox logo.     xbox App on PC will not load..


    I open the app, and the window pops up, but remains on the black screen with the xbox logo. There are no error messages, just absolute inactivity.

    What I have Tried: uninstalling the app, reinstalling the app, updating the app, gone into installed apps and individually tried repairing first, the resetting app data, then again, uninstalling and reinstalling.

    I had an Xbox Gamer Support tech adviced me to use powershell and deleting the game services app, and then reinstalling the app again via powershell. and I still end up with the same blank loading image of the xbox logo.

    beginning to get frustrated because I cannot use the PC game pass at all, and the app has been malfunctioning for about 2 months for me, at least, and im paying for a service i cannot use despite all the attempts to fix and repair the app. I really do not know what else to do, other than cancelling the service and requesting a refund for the past 2 months.

    is there anything I havent tried to get this to work ?

    Thanks for the reply.

    The messages work correctly on my Xbox One X, and the messages show up correctly on account.xbox.com.

    I have tried loading the messages on the (PC) Xbox app on two different devices, my desktop and my laptop. Both of them fail to load the messages.

    Interestingly the (Mobile) Xbox app on my phone loads the conversations successfully, so it only seems to be affecting the desktop app.

    However the (PC) app does work with a different Xbox account, it is only affecting my main account. So I suspect my conversations have got into a weird state on the server that only the (PC) Xbox app is unable to handle correctly.
