Discus and support Xbox App on PC not update titles in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; The app detects 2 updates, one for "No Man's Sky" and the other for Dragon quest XI, also waiting for today's update for Sea of Thieves.     Xbox App on PC not update titles


    The app detects 2 updates, one for "No Man's Sky" and the other for Dragon quest XI, also waiting for today's update for Sea of Thieves. None of these start the download. I've tried to start downloading other titles and they seem to work fine but updates don't. The only title that gives error 0x0000001 is The Ascent with the preliminary installation. Is it impossible for others to update titles on PC?

    Ok, now my Xbox App is updated but still the same error and i can't start the game from the App. If i play the Game Xbox Live doesn't recognises it so its not showing in the Friendslist. I think this PC Title needs to be updated in the Xbox Live Database
    or something like that.

    Hi,

    Ori and the Will of the Wisps is an Xbox Play Anywhere title. This means that it can be downloaded from the Windows 10 Store.

    Ori and the Blind Forest is not a Play Anywhere title. To download the PC version of this game from the PC Game Pass you need the PC Game Pass App installed.

    Xbox gamepass ultimate won't give me the option to install games on my PC. Is that intended?

    Keep in mind you need to meet the system requirements

    Thr only games that work on pc that are on the xbox ultimate gamepass are the pc playanywhere titles which smwutches mentioned and the pc specific titles

    You can check the beta app for xbox for the list of titles and yes they are different

    Only play anywhere titles are cross compatible

    Also pc gamepass games.aren't the same as xbox gamepass

    And yes there are some pc.only titles

    If you goto.the xbox gamepass app for.pc.you have 3 sections cloud. Xbox and pc

    And not all titles are pc.anywhere isn't that an ea title?

    XBOX App does not allow me to select drive to install game.

    Cheers for this. Got the same issue and have not been able to install any more Gamepass titles on my PC for past couple of days. I have a few GamePass PC titles installed already and those show to still be installed ok in the app and also play fine. Had tried selecting the drive in settings (there only is one) reinstalling the Xbox app and doing the app repair/reset too. Nothing had worked but using the app on mobile forces the remote install through to the desktop pc just fine, but it's crazy to have to do that. Something broke with a recent update, hopefully MS sort asap.
