Xbox App on PC not Showing games and is checking for updates without every updating

Hi,

I recently tried to download a game then tried to put a second game in the que to be downloaded and after doing so the few games I already had installed and all the ones I was trying to when grey as shown and then after going back into the My library tab this is what it shows with nothing in the que anymore and hasn't changed for a few days. Also some more info Im on Windows 11 and both my Windows and device drivers are all up to date.

Nilay here and I'm glad to answer your query today.

Type "Check for updates" into the Start Menu to open the Windows updater quickly. To update the Xbox app, type "Microsoft Store" into the Start Menu, click on the library icon in the bottom left corner, then select "Get Updates."

Let's try some steps to isolate the issue. Try to repair/ reset the gaming services and Xbox app. Kindly Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Find the App named "Gaming Services" / Xbox app then select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Reset.

After that press WIN+R (Windows logo key + R) , Enter "services.msc", find "Game Services", stop the service and then start it back again.

Did all of the steps you listed above then reopened Xbox app to see if there were any changes and seem to work like normal now. Thank you for the help!!

Yes, I auto-update windows. Just checked and it's up to date, Checked the xbox companion app, checked the xbox app, everything is up to date on the PC. I don't see what that has to do with the Xbox always being behind on Minecraft updates. Like right now my Minecraft on windows PC is at at 1.19.30, and the Xbox is at 1.19.22, I check the app on the Xbox and it says there are no updates available. I delete it and go to the store to redownload it, and I still cant get the 1.19.30 and this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME there is an update. Xbox always takes a week or more before it will show there's an update.

Check for the PC requirements to install the game please, probably you have a missing update for windows, this will be show to you on the requirements section of the game

You can also try going to the PC settings app and select windows update then check for updates
