Xbox App on PC Not Recognizing Game Pass Subscription

Hi,

My Xbox app on PC isn’t working properly. I have an active Game Pass subscription, but the app doesn’t seem to recognize it — I can’t play any of the included games. It also tells me that due to a recent change on my device, I need to log into the Microsoft Store again and confirm the account I use for purchases. However, when I click “Continue,” nothing happens.

I’ve already tried reinstalling the Xbox app and signing back into both the Xbox app and Microsoft Store, but the issue remains.

I’m currently paying €11.99 for Game Pass and can’t use it — please help me fix this.

Good day, I first subscribed to Xbox Ultimate Game Pass on my Xbox One console but when I went onto my PC to install FS2020, the Xbox App for PC does not recognize my subscription and is asking me to subscribe again. Any resolutions to this?

I am having the exact same issue! Just renewed and upgraded to XBox Game Pass Ultimate, the phone app works fine, hell I can even use Cloud play. But on my PC, the XBox App doe not recognize my Game Pass subscription. I hope we will be reimbursed for the
lost time once the issue is fixed.

That’s great and yes, that includes the Xbox Game Pass for PC. This also included cloud gaming can you please check if you can access cloud gaming on your Xbox App then try to play any game from there? This is to check if it’s recognizing your subscription.

Also, for the next resort uninstall and reinstall Xbox App.

Please try the steps below.

Access your account at this link: https://account.microsoft.com/services/ .

Check if your subscription is active and if it is, turn off recurring billing for the subscription. Restart your computer after that, go to the Xbox app and try to install a game. Let me know if it works.
