    Hello,

    I'm having an issue with my Xbox app not launching. When I click the app, a black window pops up with the Xbox Logo in the center. However, that's as far as it gets. It will just sit there on that window indefinitely.

    Additionally, if I open up my Task Manager, it doesn't say that Xbox is running. I've tried repairing, resetting, reinstalling, using command prompts, restarting my pc, and installing media creation tools (Xbox support suggested).

    It's weird because the games themselves launch perfectly fine when I launch them directly from the search bar, but I just can't load into the Xbox app itself.

    I'm currently at a loss because I don't want to have to reinstall windows, and I definitely don't want to pay for a subscription for an App that I cannot use.

    It just stinks that I might have to consider canceling my subscription for the first time in 20 years.

    I appreciate any and all help/feedback. Thanks!

    As above, launch xbox app on Windows 10, and stream from xbox to pc, then use fraps or something similar to record it

    Hey there. Here's a super Easy guide to fix your Xbox app on your Windows 10 PC.

    • Close the Xbox App
    • Right Click on The windows Logo on the start bar.Click on "apps and features"
    • Search for Xbox
    • Click on the Xbox App Logo
    • Click on Advanced Options
    • Reset the app data by clicking the only button available on that page
    • Launch the Xbox App
    • Enjoy Xbox Live on your Win 10 PC :D

    Do you have Windows 10 on your PC? If so, you just download the Xbox App and sign into your account just as you would on your Xbox. Then you:

    • Download the game on Windows 10 PC.
    • Connect your Xbox Controller to Windows 10 PC. You can use the same way as you use it on the Console.
    • Find the game listing in the Xbox App, and launch it.
    • Now you can play the game using the controller, just like you play on the console with same controls.

    You're trying to play Sea of Thieves on Windows 10 PC, correct?

    If so, on your Windows 10 PC, if you go to Settings>Apps>Xbox app>Advanced Options>Reset.

    Next, making sure you're signed out of the Xbox app and try signing back in to launch Sea of Thieves via Xbox Game Pass.
