XBox App on PC doesn't find any installed games (there are 8) and can't install new games.

Hello,

i have a issue with the XBox (beta) App on my Computer.

I can't start any installed games, they worked before, but now the App says they are "offline" and can't be found.

And i can't install new Games, they even get not downloaded. It stops with the error 0x00000001.

to be honest, the online FAQ for this error is horrible.

I have the newest Windows Version installed (at least for that "search for new Updates" button)

Any ideas beside of cancel the Xbox Game Pass on PC?

It will get soon pricier, with what i am fine for all those games, but not if i can't use any games.

Hi,

The xbox app seems to have an issue with recognizing install location.

Similar issue for me where existing already downloaded games just disappear (I can redownload them though...)

Mqybe try to change the default location (Settings-> general° _ that did not work for me (qfter that i had a weird instanc where one of the game started where downoad was reset to0%, but since no luck)

it is a internal one,

i can still use my hdd, i can access my pictures, documents and other stuff,

Steam, Origin, GoG, Epic, everything works and can access the data,

Only the Xbox App can't access anything.

Have you tried reattachjng your hdd if its an external one?

i already tried different install locations, nothing worked.

i would love to redownload. At least then i could play someday...

But my downloads stop with the error 0x00000001

and all my games are not found.

i deinstalled one game, but it still don't want to download.

Where did you mean to uninstall it? I've tried the following:

In the Xbox Game Pass for PC app, I've right-clicked on the game where it appears on the left hand side, and selected 'Uninstall Game'. This doesn't do anything - the game remains in the list on the left hand side, and if I click 'Install', I get the same
issue.
I've tried going into Settings -> Apps and Features, to try and find the game in there to uninstall. The game does not appear in the list of installed apps, so I can't uninstall it here.
I've tried searching on the hard drive for any files with the game's name. Nothing here to delete.
I've uninstalled and re-installed the Xbox Game Pass for PC app. Same problem persists.
