    Xbox app on PC causes internet to stop sometimes


    Hey there,

    How come when I leave the xbox app on on my pc, after a while it disconnects me from the internet. I've seen several questions asking the same thing, and every solution given is that the users have to restart router and plug in a wire?

    I'm on a wired internet connection.

    Steam, Origin, uPlay even Epic Games runs fine, doesn't disconnect me. But as soon as I have Xbox app open for sometimes as early as 10 minutes, the internet stops, and then the solution is to exit and close the Xbox app, and almost instantaneously after
    that my internet works.

    Just wondering if they've found a fix yet, since I've seen this problem being posted for a few years now.

    A few things can cause this. Internet type, a ban for previous offence's.

    Sometimes it helps to try on the app or the website.

    I having truble with LIVE.

    Yes it give me error message when started. And time to time. In apps it stop retrieving data to my XBOX 360. But my PC can connected to the internet.

    At my house sometimes when i run too many things really quicky it cuts the fuses causing a black out. This is what

    Could be happening to you. It cuts the power on your router or other internet source causing a download error. What i suggest is to leave your 360 on for at least an hour whilst running on the internet so your power doesnt get a overload of uasage at once.
    this should stop the error. hope it helps. If so get back to me on xbox
