XBOX APP ON PC CAN'T SCAN THE GAMES FAST ON HARDDRIVE

Hello, I have been a while on xbox app forum. I scanned a lot of topics and try the most of the solutions which is written in forums.

When I open xbox app on my all upgrades are done windows 10, I can't start the games like 30 min. Program says that there is a problem about loading location which I understand as game location can't be found by xbox app.

I tried every solution in forums such as;

-Restart app/computer.

-Uninstall app/gaming services then install.

-Closing antivirus for all xbox apps and gaming services.

-Done things for microsoft store too.

Nothing worked. I am still waiting like 30 minutes to click and start the game from xbox app or microsoft store.

At last I understand that, my games are in my hdd harddrive. Xbox app can't scan the hdd drive so fast because its big. when around 30 minutes pass I try to click game and it starts.

So do you make xbox app scan game loaded directories faster? I think it is the solution for me or many of the players.

What you are experiencing is normal and it's because of hardware limitations.

SSDs (Solid State Drives) are significantly faster than HDDs (Hard Disk Drives) for data transfer and access, with speeds ranging from 500 MB/s to 3,500 MB/s or more. HDDs, on the other hand, typically transfer data at 30-150 MB/s, which is the main reason why your scans are taking 30 minutes or more.

If you wish faster loading speeds, I would recommend upgrading or adding an additional SSD on your system unit.

Ya, anything works screaming fast with so few apps. LOL. Maybe another reason for the delays in getting the X1 Platform going. So people think its so fast. I wonder when it has a hundred apps and a full harddrive and a ext harddrive how it will work. I
hope just as good of course.

Thank you for reply, after resetting my console I realized every game and app stored on my harddrive won't work and i can't install games on my harddrive but the issue seems to be my harddrive, which is a Xbox harddrive. Not sure if you guys can still
help me or recommend who i can ask for help.

The Xbox 360 harddrive is formatted in a special way and has a specific security sector on it that "proves" that it's a real 360 harddrive.

The Xbox 360 harddrive can't be used on a PC directly, so if your friend formatted or re-partitioned the drive to use in his laptop, the harddrive is now unusable for the 360, as the security sector was probably also deleted.

You should now ask your "friend" to buy you a new harddrive, if he broke it.

The trouble shooter corrected a file corruption error in the Store App, but it didn't scan the Xbox App. I also deleted temporary files before running a clean boot on my PC. The error, however, is unchanged.
