Well two things first the app still needs to support game services

Two m1 is not anywhere close to a iPhone or Android cpu or intel

It's is a different instruction set

And you cannot install apps via browser apple closed that hole awhile ago

Only offical apps are supported m1 is too new where windows/intel has been standard for a long time

Not all mac os apps work on the m1 fyi unless ported with cocoa

Look up m1 it will teach you how difficult supporting a new platform is

Steam relies on hardware drivers in the case of Mac os ir is available but xbox games rely on direct x11 which mac os does not use

IOS apps still have to be ported for the mac os m1

You can run iOS apps on Mac os intel

M1 is not the same as an Intel cpu ior the iPhone ir iPad cpus iOS apps ARENT fully compatibility with the mac os cocoa is a case by case basis if cocoa can't fully runs the libraries the games /app runs you still need the app maker

2 xbox is direct competition to Apple and their game services to bypass apples store for games
