Xbox App on Android no party chat audio with earbuds

To use the microphone on your earbuds with the Xbox app on your Samsung phone, you will need to make sure that the earbuds are connected to your phone and set as the default audio device. Here are the steps you can follow:

Connect your earbuds to your phone using Bluetooth.

Open the Xbox app on your phone.

Go to the "Settings" menu in the app.

Under the "Audio" section, select "Audio Device."

Choose your earbuds from the list of available audio devices.

Once you have set your earbuds as the default audio device, the Xbox app should automatically use the microphone on your earbuds when you are using voice chat or other features that require a microphone.

Firstly I'd check the support page for any key steps you might have missed:

Troubleshoot audio problems in parties on Xbox One

Then test Party chat via something else e.g. the Xbox app on Android/iOS- Both try this to see separately and then together. This might help identify, which person is having the issue.

Have you also tried Party chat with other people? With other people starting the chat? and in a game chat lobby?

USB Mic hooked up to PC. Using The Windows 10 Xbox App for party chat. I have a separate headset (broken mic, thus the reason for using the Yeti) on the Xbox One X console. I want to be able to communicate, and the only way I'm able to, at the moment,
is the party app. My earbuds that have a mic on them works with the controller and console but the audio quality isn't very good. That's why I want to use my better headset to hear all the audio while I talk through the mic on the app. I don't know if it's
possible. Just hoping there's a work-around

generally earbuds will only have party audio since that can be picked up from the controller connection. I havent seen a pair of earbuds (maybe the turtlebeach battlebuds but unsure) play game audio, i think for that you either need a bluetooth wireless
gaming headset or a headset made for xbox to pick up game audio

the double audio im hearing is coming from the companion app on my pc that im using to stream from my xbox. its not from streamlabs. im getting the audio from my xbox and my pc via the companion app. but im using the companion app to use party chat to
talk. so i cannot mute it because it then mutes the party chat audio and im not able to hear my party.
