    Xbox app not working on Samsung phone fix


    I recently ran into an issue where the Xbox app began having issues. At first my captures wouldn't show, then my gamertag and pic. I uninstalled and reinstalled to try and remedy the issues but was then unable to even log back into the app. I became trapped
    in the green login screen. I called Xbox customer support and the representative was very short with me, claiming it wasn't her responsibility bc it was a problem with my phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7. I did some research and found that many Samsung users
    were having this issue. I found that deleting Cortana off of my phone remedied the issue. My Xbox app is now running smoothly. I am hopeful that this will help someone else who is frustrated. Take care.

    youtube app bug?

    every time I turn on my Xbox the YouTube app loses pairing data with my phone. I have to pair it again. The phone is a Samsung and works fine with the smart TV YouTube app. I've reset the app on the phone but no luck.

    Anyone else suffering from this problem?

    I noticed it wouldn't display your profile picture the last two days but they fixed it.

    Since yesterday morning though, the My Xbox Live App for android on Samsung smartphones doesn't work (but the Xbox 1 smart glass app does). I use these apps for checking on Xbox stuff when I'm away from home. With the My Xbox Live App for Samsung android
    when I click on the sign in screen I get this

    Couldn't sign in to Xbox LIVE. Please try again.

    Sign in.

    I've tried and un-install and installed the app again from Playstore. Still the same thing. Do note that the Xbox One Smart glass app does work when I launch it away from home on my phone. Also the
    Xbox 360 smart glass app works fine for when I want to use my phone as a remote for my 360 slim console.

    Remote play on new phone not working

    I'm using an android. Samsung s23+. My old phone was a Samsung s10+ and that one works great for remote play still. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling console is still set to sleep mode. No error codes. I noticed when I setup the Xbox in the Xbox app on my phone it test my settings and says I'm good to go but I click remote play on this device and it just spins forever and ever.

    I downloaded the My Xbox Live App on my Samsung Galaxy Ace Android phone but it does not work.

    Gives me an error message "This apps wouldn't work well enough on your device" and just quit.

    Reboot the Samsung phone.. Do you leave it on all the time? I have to reboot my S4 everyday for most apps to work correctly. Try that and let us know.

    Xbox 360 SmartGlass not working

    cannot connect on any device i have check and made sure that xbox smart glass app is enabled on the console ,i have tried samsung s8 ,samsung s4 ,nvida shield tablet ,bluestacks and i have tried using the windows 10 xbox 360 smart glass app - gives error
    code " 0xc101008e (0x800c0008) instantly , i also tried using old versions of the app on andoid but i couldnt install them on either phones or bluestacks , any app that works i still have the same problem , i can sign in but cannot connect to any xbox 360
    , all im trying to do is get the fable anniversary achievement "see the future Xbox SmartGlass to Fable Anniversary and unfortunately the xbox one smart glass app doesnt work.

    id love to know if im wasting my time or if this will be fixed from some one official.
