    Xbox App Not Working After Android Oreo Update


    I've been using the Xbox app on my Note 8 for a while now. It was working just fine when my phone was running
    android nougat. Today that I updated to latest
    android oreo but now whenever I am trying to open the app it is only loading a white blank screen on it's startup and simply closes itself after few second. Is it some compatibility issue with
    android oreo or what? Can anyone please help me fix it??

    My xbox loses the connection when I am broadcasting with the windows 10 xbox app.

    My xbox loses the connection when I am broadcasting with the windows 10 xbox app. And also with another Xbox app (Android and Windows 10).

    After this last update. Right after 5 minutes I'm having trouble with the Xbox App for Android and Windows 10.

    Only after restarting the console does it work again.

    Unsure if this is still a thing but i would try clearing the cache and try uninstalling and re installing. was recently having the same issue and that worked!

    I moved your comment from the
    thread     you posted on and created a new thread for you.

    Since you stopped receiving notifications after an OS update to your phone, then the update or the OS itself may be causing the issue and would need to be addressed by Google.

    Do you still receive notifications normally on your Xbox One console?

    If you haven't already done so, re-install the app and then sign back into your account and give it a test.

    Typically after a major OS update the updated Apps will follow shortly after. This is a public update and not a beta correct? If so give it a few days for the apps to make it to marked.

    UPDATE 08/02/20 19:25 GMT: After 3 uninstalls and reinstalls it is still not installing from Android phone app to PC but it works to console. The PC is listed in the devices. The iPad app works fine.
