Xbox app not updating

I had similar issues until the Xbox Store App updated my Xbox App. You may need a Xbox App update.

Check if the Xbox app is up to date: Make sure that you have the latest version of the Xbox app installed on your system. To do this, open the Microsoft Store app, click on the three dots in the top-right corner, and select "Downloads and updates." If an update for the Xbox app is available, install it and see if that resolves the issue.

Reset the Xbox app: Sometimes, resetting the Xbox app can help resolve issues. To do this, right-click on the Xbox app icon in the Start menu, select "More," and then click on "App settings." Scroll down to the "Advanced options" section and click on the "Reset" button. This will clear the app's data and settings, and you'll need to sign in to the app again.

Reinstall the Xbox app: If resetting the app doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app. To do this, right-click on the Xbox app icon in the Start menu, select "Uninstall," and then follow the on-screen instructions. Once the app is uninstalled, go to the Microsoft Store app and reinstall the Xbox app.

Check for Windows updates: Make sure that your Windows operating system is up to date with the latest updates. To check for updates, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click on "Check for updates." Install any available updates and see if that resolves the issue.

There could be a delay in sync in Xbox app. Try to sign out to your Xbox app then update your Xbox and gaming services apps, here's how:

Press the Start button on the taskbar, type store, and open the Microsoft Store app.

Select Library.

Under Updates & Downloads, check if there are any updates available for the Xbox app or Gaming Services app. If an update is available, select Update.

Once it's done, re-sign in your account and check to see if it works.

The Xbox app is not updated by Windows update. The app is from the Windows (Microsoft) store and is updated there. Please go to the store to see whether there is an update available.
