A Windows BSOD (blue screen of death) isn't going to be something that the Xbox App creates. The Xbox App may well be in beta but it's not unstable and it doesn't create blue screen errors.

If your system is freezing and is getting stuck in the BIOS screen this indicates a hardware issue with your PC.

Can you play other games on your PC from Steam or other launching software? If these games work and don't crash then it won't be a power issue.

Can you provide to us your system specifications?

I have tried all 3 solutions now and when I launch the xbox app I am still stuck with just the app having the black screen and the xbox logo in the middle pulsing.

Please follow the steps below to check if the problem is resolved by reinstalling Microsoft Gaming Services:

1. Type "Windows PowerShell" in the Windows search bar and run it as an administrator. Then, copy and paste the following command and press Enter on your keyboard:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-appxpackage -allusers

2. Open the Xbox app; if it opens correctly without any issues, it will detect that you need the Gaming Services. You can download them by clicking the "Download" button that appears there. If the problem persists and you still can't open the Xbox app or if it doesn't allow you to download the Gaming Services with the previous method, then try using the following command in the Windows PowerShell window, run as an administrator using the process described in the first step:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

3. Once you finish downloading and installing Gaming Services, it's recommended that you restart your PC.

4. Finally, check if the problem has been resolved.

Still didn't work.

Popped up with a "100% download" but was still stuck on the loading screen, when entering "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-appxpackage -allusers" in windowspwercell.

Then when inserting "start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN" it still didn't change anything.

what else can I do?
