    Xbox app not launching on PC - win11


    Hi all,

    Xbox app won't launch on my PC, I've tried repair, reset, uninstall, and nothing, all up to date.

    Is there fix for this?

    App is showing there is 1 notification on task bar, bat not launching, loading all the time.

    unfortunately still nothing.

    I tried all of the above but no luck, Xbox app still just loading.

    I understand that you are experiencing issues launching the Xbox App.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please restart Xbox Services by pressing Win + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter. Look for these services:

    Xbox Live Auth Manager

    Xbox Live Game Save

    Xbox Live Networking Service

    Right-click each service and select Restart. Then, try launching the Xbox app again.

    And then reset Microsoft Store & Xbox App using powerShell. To do this, open PowerShell as Administrator. Enter the following command and press Enter:

    Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.XboxApp* | Reset-AppxPackage

    Then, reset the Microsoft Store with:

    wsreset

    Restart your PC and try launching the app.

    Next is to check Windows firewall & antivirus. Please ensure that the Xbox app is not being blocked by Windows Firewall or third-party antivirus. To check this, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Windows Security > Firewall & Network Protection, then Allow Xbox App through Firewall.

    Then run Windows troubleshooters. Open Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooters. Kindly run the following:

    Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

    Xbox Networking Troubleshooter

    After that is to reinstall Xbox App using powershell. Open PowerShell (Admin) and enter: Get-AppxPackage *XboxApp* | Remove-AppxPackage

    Then reinstall it via Microsoft Store.

    If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly open Command Prompt (Admin). And run:

    sfc /scannow

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    Unable to use Xbox Cloud Gaming and Remote Play since sometimes in November/December

    I have the same issue. Cloud gaming works from iOS browser, and Edge browser but not from the XBOX App on Win11. It used to work two weeks ago, but probably since some new Win11 update, it broke. I can't stream from my XSX to my Win11 PC anymore.
