    Xbox App Not Detecting PS4 Controller


    Hi,

    My PS4 controller is not being detected by the Xbox app on my PC, but it works normally when using xbox cloud on the Edge browser. I have tried updating the controller drivers, reinstalling the app, and restarting my PC, but the issue persists. I using a Bluetooth connection for controller.



    Could you help me resolve this issue? Thank you for your time and assistance.

    It sounds like you want to know if your PS4 controller is compatible with the Xbox store. And in short it is no.

    Some games on gamepass work, others don't. This is because the Windows operating system does not natively support the PS4/5 controller. You must use ds4, a program that essentially disguises the PS4 controller as an xbox controller.

    Gamespass PC doesn't detect the controller!!

    I have downloaded the Xbox Accessories app but the controller doesn't show up and I'm using a PS4 controller. My steam and DS4 software does detects the controller and my other applications as well as such Gog, Uplay, Epic Launcher, Battle.Net, EA Play, and etc. I don't understand why when playing the game via Clould Gaming it does detects the controller but when downloading the game on the PC the gamepass doesn't detects the controller!

    Sony does not make Windows drivers, you'll need to take it up witb them.

    As cuphead is not a Microsoft game, you'll need to contact the developer for troubleshooting

    download and install ds4, it will sort the issue, if not just add cuphead as a non steam game into steam and then it should use the steam custom driver for the ps controller.
