XBOX app not allowing me to accept party invites

No but Ive tried both the xbox companion app and the xbox companion beta app, theres literally no option for party notifications anymore so I cant accept party invites

Ray, you're mistaken. You can have up to 8 participants in party chat, not Skype. As for how many participants are allowed in the Skype app, I'm actually not sure, but I imagine it's the same as however many are allowed on the PC version of Skype.

Yes, you can invite players to your game and to your party.

The Xbox One uses a notification system similar to the Xbox 360, so if someone sends you a message/invite/etc., you'll see it pop up on the bottom of your screen. If you hold down the Xbox button in the middle of your controller, it will go to the message/accept
the invite/etc. The message/party/etc. will then pop up on the right side using the snap-center.

You have to invite each other to an xbox party and then accept invites that way.

I have done all of these all settings are on allow but on the xbox app on windows 10 i cannot accept invites or join any clubs
