I see. If that fails, try downloading the game via Minecraft launcher. You can download the launcher through the Microsoft Store app, Xbox app, and the Mojang website. After installing the launcher, log in with your Microsoft account and download Microsoft Dungeons.

Please install gaming services using the Xbox app, not the Microsoft store. You should be able to see a blue banner in the bottom (in Xbox app)

"Open Powershell with Admin or CMD with Admin (Press Windows key + X then click Windows Powershell(Admin))
Copy each line of command to Powershell then press enter (one line at a time)

So the steps I already tried were resetting my laptop, clearing the Microsoft Cache, updating the Microsoft store, etc. The usual things we should do to try and simply reset things. None of those worked.

I tried the two solutions you suggested and they also didn't work out for me. I uninstalled Game Services and now I'm unable to reinstall them. The Microsoft store is now telling me that there's an error on their end.

I've now got the 0x80073D27 error code.

Depending on your internet speed can take a while (but I think no more than 30 min), and when you press install if I recall correctly you see something like "View progress / details"

Try waiting this time and then go to Windows settings > apps > installed apps and look for gaming services. If it's there try again.

If not, please try reinstalling the Microsoft store and all its components and give it a new try

The banner at the bottom that's supposed to be blue is red however, I'm not sure if that's meant to be different. It tells me to install it, I click install and have done that a few times today. It says it should take a few minutes but takes far longer. Will it give me a notice once the installation of Games Service is done?
