Xbox app messsages don't load

Messaging on Xbox has been having some big problems the past few days so this may also be part of it. My Messsages aren't loading at all on console and don't load correctly on the app either. Hopefully this will work itself out soon.

the console works perfectly with my 360 games. i tested battle for bikini bottom on an identical console, it works just fine on that. on my console, it reads and loads the disc. goes to the xbox logo, and then give me the messsage saying the game isn't
supported. it's not a problem with the disk drive. my hard drive is the original 1451 that came with the console.

This "message" comes up about once a year. There is no official promotion from Xbox to get 4000 points to send a messsage.
